EPIN: protecting honeybees from pesticides
EPIN is a bioracional pesticide which is non toxic to fish, invertebrates, birds and bees. EPIN has the natural bioregulator as an active ingredient. This fact is an important prerequisite for considering EPIN as ecologically safe nontoxic chemical that has been supported by the toxicological studies. Moreover, stimulation by EPIN of natural resources of a plant allows to diminish the employment of other plant protective agents, some of which are conflicting with respect to the environment. EPIN can be considered as representative of a new generation of agricultural chemicals, which have no interference with the environment, act in natural doses and in a natural way.

ApiBrassin for bee feeding
ApiBrassine, a novel compound for bee feeding on basis of epibrassinolide, is natural pollen hormone. In its chemical structure epibrassinolide is close to insect hormones, i.g. ecdysteroids, that is responsible for reproductive function and stress adaptation. Both similar structure and natural evolutional contact of bees with epibrassinolide are viewed as telling arguments in favor of the offered compound efficiency in bee feeding. ApiBrassine was developed proceeding from most important recent findings by scientists from the Timeryasev Agriculture Academy in Moscow, Russia.

ApiBrassine production by Mikonik Technologies, Ltd. followed the use of epibrassinolide in bee-farming practice in Russia that demonstrated its stimulating effect on queen bee reproductive performance, considerable bee family fostering, longer life expectancy, better resistance to stresses supported by numerous positive references from beekeepers.

ApiBrassine is a biologically active extra feed for bees, containing epibrassinolide. It is indicated good results for bee feeding, weight growth of male and female bees, increase in egg-laying qualities, longer life expectancy and higher family potential.

A dose of 1 ml ApiBrassine in one ampoule contains 0.2 mg epibrassinolide. ApiBrassine is added to sugar syrups or other common nutrition supplements in ratio 1 ml per 1 l syrup. It is administered 2 - 3 or more times in every 4 - 5 days and its application areas include:

- bee family potentiation in spring;
- in case of forage lack;
- preparation for wintering;
- in other cases for stimulation and stress protection of bees.

Honey from bees after ApiBrassine feeding may be used in current nutrition regimens without adverse events and precautions. It is stored in a dry, protected from light place at temperature not higher than 30 degrees of Celcius. Expiry date – 2 years.

Presently, Mikonik Technologies, Ltd. extends a dealing network for the product with clear benefits and an attractive market opportunity. Efficient, low-priced and quality food may become a subject of mutually profitable collaboration in the field of bee keeping.
